Yarnell’s Ice Cream Company is a fourth generation, family-owned business founded in 1932 when Ray Yarnell picked up the pieces of a bankrupt dairy.  Processing ice cream and other frozen desserts ever since, Yarnell’s is now the only ice cream company in Arkansas.  Over the years, with the help of our loyal consumers, our company has become one of America’s leading regional ice cream companies, serving the entire state of Arkansas, Mississippi, and parts of adjoining states.

In addition to Yarnell’s premium ice cream and Guilt Free ice cream for health-conscious consumers, we manufacture a complete line of frozen novelties.  Yarnell’s is a direct-store-delivery company, so all of our products are hand delivered to our supermarket freezer cases by our own professional route salesmen.  Sales routes are found in Arkansas, Mississippi, Western Tennessee, and parts of Missouri (see our service area).

Our growth has not been limited to new products alone.  In fact, Yarnell’s has achieved an aggressive expansion program.  We are continuously adding to our manufacturing capabilities and ice cream storage capacity at our Searcy facility to meet our customers' and consumers' demand for our delicious ice cream products.

At Yarnell’s we are determined to remain the best ice cream company in our region of the United States.  We use our own sensory evaluation facility to ensure our products are number 1 in taste and quality.  More importantly, we let our consumers vote with their taste buds!  Our vision is to become a mega-regional company in the direct-store-delivery ice cream and frozen treats while continuing to gain national recognition for our Guilt Free line of "Better for You" products.
